Product Care Guide
General Product Care
Parisa Wang products are carefully handcrafted by artisans and sourced with high quality, full-grain leather, ensuring singularity and durability. It is possible for marks or irregularities to appear even in the most luxurious skins; these are naturally occurring features and should not be thought of as imperfections.
Stuff your bag with tissue paper to preserve its shape. Store it in the care bag and in a cool dry place. Avoid contact with water, grease, perfumes, and cosmetics.
Full Grain Leather
The best way to care for the full-grain leather and your Parisa Wang product is simply to use it, but always to do so with care. Full-grain leather is a sturdy and hard-wearing natural material that can last for years but it does have its limits. Avoid extreme temperatures, rough handling and direct contact with cosmetic products, wet and moist surfaces.
To clean and care for it, we recommend treating full-grain leather with a professional leather cleaner and conditioner. To remove stains other than permanent dyes, gently dab with a damp soft cloth and the Leather Straight Cleaner. Always allow full grain leather to dry naturally. Thoroughly rub in leather cleaner to remove set in dirt and soften the hide. Allow the leather cleaner to dry, then use a soft dry cloth to wipe away the excess.
The Leather Milk Healing Balm provides moisture to rejuvenate the leather, keeping it supple and ensuring that it does not dry out, fade or crack.
Natural Cotton Canvas
When it comes to canvas, keep in mind this is a natural fiber. Unlike synthetics, which are engineered for increased strength and durability, canvas requires minimal care to lengthen its lifespan.
Should your canvas bag pick up any stains while accompanying you, simply use a lightly dampened cloth or sponge with a little soap and water to spot-clean the fabric and then allow it to dry naturally. If you are working with moderate to heavy staining or discoloration, especially on white, natural, or light-colored canvas, it is best to allow a cleaning professional to determine the next course of action.
Nylon
All Parisa Wang fabrics are treated with a water-repellent coating, making them resistant to immediate stains and droplets. However, only our nylon-based bags can be considered 100% waterproof.
To clean nylon bags, you can use dampened cloth or sponge with a little soap and water to gently wipe the bag’s surface. If there are stains, wipe it with a little more pressure and for tougher stains and dirt, use a soft toothbrush to scrub stains away. Make sure to avoid leather, hardware, or zippers. Blot handbag with the additional towel or lint-free cloth to remove excess water and leave open to let it air dry. Do not use artificial heat like hair dryers or heaters, and don’t put in sunlight to speed up the process.
