I purchased this Madison Top Handle Pebbled bag in Taupe and I couldn't be happier. Great quality - it is made of Italian full grain calf leather (both in and out as well I believe), hardware has a mix of real gold, surprisingly spacious, looks elegant and very stylish. The canvas dust bag which has handles (can be worn as a shoulder bag) is very clever. Size is perfect - it is not too big or too small. The gold hardware looks and feels high end which is somewhat similar to Louis Vuitton. Shipping to Australia took 10 calendar days. This bag ticks all boxes. Hope Parisa Wang makes more pebbled bags this size in other colours like white or creme. This is my first purchase here and definitely won't be my last!

Stunning bag. My only complaint is that the gold buckle will NOT stay closed. Wish I could return but this started happening a couple of days after I threw packaging away 😑

Regarding your concern, the lock on the bag needs to be pulled open to create enough space for putting items in and taking them out, so it's normal for the lock to be unbuckled during this process. If the lock pops open while you're loading the bag, that's normal and it's a part of the design function. However, if the lock doesn't stay secure when you're not using the bag, that could indicate an issue.
